Glenys had a profound influence on my career and who I became. It was in a lecture she gave to me as an undergraduate student that stimulated in me a curiosity for CSR. Thank you for the intellectual stimulation. I think of you often and may you rest in peace

Glenys was a colleague, but also a supervisor for my PhD. I could always rely on her for her useful insights, straight talking good sense, her unflinching support (when times got a little rough), and her intellectual generosity. I remember her fondly. Rest in peace.

Glenys was a fantastic colleague. At the time when the department was expanding her support and vision were particularly useful. Glenys was very supportive of her students and colleagues sought her advice on academic matters.
Her knowledge of the history and development of " the university" worldwide was illuminated in her writing and her notes to students.
I was particularly keen to listen to her plans before she left on her journeys to exotic countries and listen to her thoughts about these countries when she came back.
Rest in peace Glenys.
