SMITH, Gerald Hubert (Gery):
Of Sevenoaks Retirement Village, Paraparaumu (formerly of Lower Hutt). On Thursday 10 August 2017, peacefully at Sevenoaks Hospital, having achieved his 90th birthday. Loving husband of Jackie (dec); cherished Dad of Robyn (dec), Richard and Michele; father-in-law of Warren and Jan; adored Poppa of Matthew, Melissa, Lauren, Sasha and Alex; and great-grandfather to Logan and Ciara. Special thanks to the staff of Sevenoaks.
"He will be sorely missed, but memories of his sense of humour, courage, and generous heart
will be with us forever."
Requiem Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Parata Street, Waikanae, at 11.00am on Thursday, 17 August, to be followed by a private cremation. Messages for the Smith Family may be sent c/- PO Box 119, Paraparaumu 5254.
