ASHBY, Gerald Terence:
At Summerset in the Bay on July 29, 2018, aged 83, he slipped away surrounded by family. Teenage sweetheart and greatly loved and loving husband of Rene for 60 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of Sue and Jim, Leanne and Steve, Mark and Derek. Awesome Grandad of Ben and Ksusha, Aaron and Ester, and Zac and Charlotte. Loved brother of Jocelyn Whittle (Papakura) and brother-in-law of Ernie and Ngaire Lepper (Matamata). Loved and respected Uncle of all his nieces and nephews.

A service for Gerald will be held in the Beth Shan Chapel, 157 Georges Drive, Napier, on Friday, August 3 at 2.00pm, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cranford Hospice would be appreciated. Messages to the Ashby Family, PO Box 439, Napier 4140.
