George SUE Obituary

SUE, George (Sue Yue Ming):
On 29 March 2017, after a very brave battle with cancer, George passed on peacefully at his home surrounded by family. Dearly loved husband of Shirley, and father/in-law of Liane and Malcolm, Vince and Michelle, Bronwyn and Denis, Warrick and Ellen. Much loved Goong Goong/Yeh Yeh to Natasha, Brittany, Jaiden, Yasmin, Zara, Kelsey, Jordyn, Shayla, Jackson, Saskia, Bonnie and Mariska. Loved brother/in-law to Tom, Mary, Ray (deceased), Anne, Connie, Rollan and Ronnie. Loved Uncle to many and dear friend to many many more. George will be dearly missed by all. In lieu of flowers George's family would love you to offer a couple of hours to assist a voluntary organization/sports club - in recognition of the countless hours George gave to assist the many community organisations he dedicated his life to. Alternatively you can donate towards the Wellington Chinese Sports and Cultural Centre. Many thanks to the wonderful Mary Potter Hospice and health nurses, who are absolutely amazing. A service to farewell George will be on Thursday 6 April at the Hutt City Church, 22 Marsden St, Lower Hutt, at 1.00pm. A memorial service will be held in Levin on Saturday 8th April at Queen Street Chapel, at 1.00pm. Messages and donations can be sent to Sue Family, PO Box 595, Wellington, or placed in George's tributes page at www.tributes.co.nz
