Prof. George Bouet:
On July 11, 2021; aged 87 years. Dearly loved husband of Pat for sixty-one years, father of Anna, Carola, Tessa, and Alice, and Papa of Willem, Christina, Lily, Stella, Julia, and the late Chloë. The family wishes to thank the Royal District Nursing Services, Registered Nurses, and staff at Dunedin Hospital for their care and support. A Memorial Service will be held in Knox Church, 449 George Street, Dunedin, at 2.00pm, on Saturday, July 17.

We were sad to hear of George's death and send to Pat and the family our condolences. We remember the kindness and hospitality shown to the Murdoch family after our arrival in Dunedin in 1983, and on many occasions since. My the God of Comfort be with you at this time.

Dear Petersen family,
Condolences on your loss. My brother and I have fond memories of the visits that we had to the Petersen household in the 1980's when we were studying medicine in Dunedin. Enjoyed hospitality of George, Pat and the girls, Anna, Carola, Tessa and Alice on several occasions.
Thinking of you at this time, fond memories and felt George was a wonderful and inspiring man.
