George COLLINS Obituary


COLLINS, George Kenavin:

Passed away on Wednesday 13 April 2022, aged 90. Dearly beloved husband of Joy (passed), much loved dad to Janice and Gary Tennant, Sandie and Alan Vaughan, Dianne (passed) and Alan Everson. Adored Grandad and Great-Grandad to Matthew, Craig, Haylie, Jenelle, Shani, Bailey, Leo, Beau, Zoe and Freya.
George will be sadly missed.
Sincere thanks to the staff of Lansdowne Court Rest Home, Masterton for the care given to George during his brief stay. A private family service was held at the Akatarawa Chapel.

Our condolences on the passing of George. Rob and I played a lot of bowls with and against George and Joy at Trentham School Indoor Bowls Club. Rob played with and against George at Upper Hutt Bowls. He was a lovely man.
