George Raymond (Ray):
1 July 1929 – 16 July 2021. Promoted to Glory.
Ray passed peacefully at Te Hopai Rest Home after a long and productive life. Dearly loved husband of Cathryn, father and father-in-law of David & Anna, Christine, Stephen, Rebecca & Steve. Grandfather of Neelie, Sivan, Alon, Lily and Bas, Sasha, Lara and Solomon. Great grandfather of Amos, Boaz, Raia, Solomon and Levi. Dearly loved brother of Margaret Hoare (deceased) and Bruce. Special thanks to all staff at Te Hopai Rest Home for their amazing and loving care. Messages to the Clegg family may be left in Ray's tribute book at www.tributes.co.nz or posted c/- PO Box 14-366, Kilbirnie 6241. A service of celebration for Ray will be held at Wellington South Baptist Church, 284 The Parade, Island Bay, Wellington on Tuesday 20th July at 11am, thereafter private cremation.

Dear Cathryn,So sorry to hear the passing of Ray,he was a very kind caring man who helped me and my family over many years,his faith was strong and we shared many a time together.
