BENVENUTI, George:
On Sunday 26th March 2023 George passed peacefully in his sleep. Loved husband of Lena; father, nono and protector of Grant, Joanne, Gina & Luca; Lisa, Patrick, Rebecca, Hannah & Briana; Dean & Debra. Fanatically loyal supporter, the greenest of thumbs, creator of copper art, bowler, plumber, builder, master repairer, a helping hand whenever asked. We will miss him forever. Messages to the family may be left in George's tribute book at www.tributes.co.nz or posted c/- PO Box 44-176, Lower Hutt 5040. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cancer Society Wellington, www.cancer.org.nz/donate-now would be appreciated. A service to celebrate a wonderful life will be held at Naenae Bowling Club, 25 Vogel St, Naenae, on Monday 3rd April at 11.00am.

Sincere condolences to George's family and friends. My memories of George is that he was a very kind and funny man and he was a great help to me when I did my apprenticeship at Brockelsbys. I often think of him and the lads at Brocks even though I left New Zealand over 40 years ago. They were a great bunch of guys and made work so enjoyable. Best wishes.

Lena. I am so saddened to read of George´s passing. Have been remembering the happy times we had, working at GMAC and George was working at Brocklesby plumbers. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.
