McPHEAT, Gaye Meredith
(nee Brailsford):
On January 22, 2023, passed (peacefully) at Mary Potter Hospice, after a short illness, surrounded by the family she loved. Adored wife of Greg, devoted mother to Ben and James, and loving mother-in-law to Brooke and Jessica. Caring, dedicated Grandma to Ashleigh, Harper, Asa and River. Dearly loved by her extended family, many life-long friends and her colleagues at Karori Normal School. Special thanks to the staff at Mary Potter Hospice who supported Gaye and the family in her final days. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospice would be appreciated. A celebration of the life of Gaye will be held at Lychgate Funerals, 7 Johnsonville Road, Johnsonville, Thursday, February 2 at 3.00pm. Private cremation thereafter.
