Gary WESTON-WEBB Obituary
It's ten years since Gary was taken from us so suddenly and prematurely. He is keenly missed for the very many ways he lit up our lives - his distinctive kōrero, quick wit, encouraging words, compassionate kindness, understanding and patience - have left an enduring warm influence in our hearts. In the race of life, he ran a personal best, and is remembered with love, at this time and always.

Hi Martin,
Thanks for your memories of Gary at PNBHS and College St! I was 2-3 years behind him age-wise and he was a strong influence for me at that time - for better or worse! Yes - the hair, debating, running!
It's gut-wrenching he was taken prematurely, he would have been an amazing 70yr old! And he wanted to be there for his remarkable children.

Gary was a strong character. At PNBHS the teachers argued to the Principal that Gary and the other top boys should be allowed to keep their long hair. They did, looked upon as exceptions. Gary was a clever, articulate debater in the debating club. Flatting in College Street, he used to go on extremely long runs to keep fit, despite all of the distractions of youth. Thanks for the opportunity to share a memory.
