Passed away peacefully on 28 October 2017 at Arbor House Greytown. Aged 75 years. Dearly loved partner and treasured friend of Gloria for 35 years. Loved father of Jacqueline and Karen, father-in- law of Derek and Alan, grandfather and great-grandfather. Adored son of Mona (deceased) and brother of Brent and Bradley (both deceased). Would this be Gary Beer who was the manager for GPT (later, Seimens) telecommunications? If so, how terribly sad. He took a chance and employed me in his Petone branch as a customer support officer....
