In loving memory of Gajraben Lala, passed away peacefully on Sunday 10th March 2024 at home surrounded by family, aged 91. Beloved wife of the late Dahya Lala. Much loved mother and mother-in-law to Ramesh & Pushpa, Depik & Navneeta, Kiran & Shashikala, Vinu & Kalavati and Bhevna & Vinod. Cherished grandmother to Rakhee, Anita & Tapan, Sanjay, Rajesh & Yogita, Vivek & Sharmila, Pritesh & Reena, Nilish, Hemesh & Atisha, Sanesh & Aleisha, Jaynesh and great-grandmother to Ishani, Anjali, Rishi, Navya and Amaiya. Sister and sister-in-law of Khandubhai & Shantaben, the late Bhikhubhai & Lalitaben (UK) and Ratanben & the late Dhirubhai (UK). A service will be held at Bharat Bhavan, 48 Kemp Street, Kilbirnie, on Wednesday 13th March at 10.00am, followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to be made to Wellington Free Ambulance. Sitting Respects: At family residence on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th March between 2 to 7.00pm.

My deepest condolences to the Lala family.
I have known the family for over 50 years. Mrs Lala was a gracious lady. She was very hard-working lady since the early fruit shop days in Cuba Street. A loving mother to all her children. A wonderful friend to all those who knew her. Rest in peace my dear friend. Join your loving husband Dahya high in the sky. One day we will meet again.

Always remembered her beautiful smile when we used go to the fruit shop in Cuba street wellington bBhukhan and Kamala
