Fiona THOMSON-CARTER Obituary

I worked with Fiona in Scotland from 1995-2000. She was a brilliant boss and a good friend to me. Can't believe she has gone. We had a lot of fun and laughter.

A force of nature, a great friend, Fiona adored her children and was adored straight back. A clever, immensely capable, loyal woman who will be sadly missed. Love to Kirsten, Catherine and all who loved the awesome Fiona.

How I will remember 'Dr' Fiona Thomson-Carter
I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I's like to leave an after glow, of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun of happy memories that I leave when life is done.

Go well Fiona, you will be remembered and forever missed.

She will get a place on the Black Rabbits Owlsa for sure, and stars on her ears to boot.

Fiona had a wonderful sense of humour and a delightful way with words. I will remember her as a good friend and supportive colleague during our time together at ESR. My thoughts are with Catherine and Kirsten at this difficult time.

I worked with Fiona for a short time at ESR. I am sorry to hear she has passed away. She will be greatly missed.

I worked as an administrator under Fiona when you first came to NZ and she was working at ESR. She was a lovely person and I am sorry to hear she has passed. Thinking of you Catherine and Kristen and family.

I had the pleasure of meeting Fiona at my dear friend Catherine's birthday. I recall having a fun, insightful conversation over a G&T with her and celebrating into the night - a memory I'll forever cherish. It saddens me to hear we have lost a witty, beautiful and wonderful women who was the epitome of intellect, wit, generosity and kindness. All my love to Catherine, Kirsten, family and friends.
