SIMMONS, Evelyn Mary
(nee Mowbray):
Of Levin, formerly of Waikanae. Passed away peacefully at the Horowhenua Masonic Rest Home, Levin, on 31st March 2019. Loved wife of the late Chum, dearly loved mother of Ross & Gail, David & Christine, Stephen & Raewynn, and loved sister of Shirley (deceased) & Colin. Loving nanna of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A service will be held at The Funeral Home, 545 Queen Street, Levin, on Wednesday 3rd April 2019 at 2.00pm. Donations to Arohanui Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

Dear Ross, David, Stephen and families,
So sorry I cannot be with you tomorrow, but will be thinking of you. Evelyn has always been a part of our lives and we will miss her. As you know my memories go back a long way and I can vividly remember being her flower girl and other details of the wedding. Being a little older than you boys I can also remember when you were all born and having a couple of holidays in Waikanae when you were small.
I will always remember Evelyn keeping in close touch with mum and know mum has always appreciated this contact.
