PEREIRA, Evelina (Lina):
Passed away peacefully at home on 19 January, 2019. Youngest daughter of the late Manuele & Elisapeta Pereira. Dearly loved wife of the late Alan Baldwin. Precious step mum to Haley, Thaddeus and family. Cherished sister of Liz (dec), Atonio, Lafaele, Masimo, Ana, Lui, Fatima, Toma and Tominiko. Adored mum and grandma to all her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Lina will be resting at home at 24 Ropata Crescent, Boulcott until her service held on Wednesday 23 January, 2019 at Sacred Heart Parish, 33 Britannia Street, Petone at 11.00am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any of the following charities, Te Omanga Hospice, The Cancer Society or Motor Neuron Disease Association of NZ and may be left at the service. You have given so much of your time and love to each and everyone of us, our hearts are comforted knowing you are resting peacefully with our Lord.

Dear Aunty Lina

You were and are an amazing woman gone too soon from this earth but reunited with Uncle Alan in heaven for eternity. I will never forget your caring loving nature from when I first met you as a 13yo. From shopping, coffee and lunch dates, dinner at your beautiful home, to attending my 21st.

We are all blessed to have had you in our lives.

May you rest in love and light and I ask God to watch over all of the Pereira and extended Baldwin family during this difficult time.

Lina was my Manager at Ministry of Health from 1995-2000. I had so many happy memories of working with such a caring, helpful and supportive Manager. I was so grateful to her for mentoring and training me in my career. Even after I've changed job, she still keeps in touch. Those dinners and get-together for current and ex-staff was her way of friendship and caring nature. The cherished memories and great time together will never be forgotten.
Wish I could be there today but sadly, we will not able to attend as Cy is not well.
