HALDEZOS, Emmanuel:
On 9th December 2020. Died peacefully at Aroha Care Centre, aged 90 years. Beloved husband of Theodora for 59 years. Loving father & father-in-law of Taki & Angelique, and Mersini. Treasured papou of Theodora, Haroula, Nicola, Kristina and Emmanuel. Loved brother of Gabriel and Marie, and brother-in-law of Dimitrios Lagoutaris and their families. Loved cousin of Emmanuel and Danny Yiannoutsos. In lieu of flowers donations to the Greek Orthodox Church or Wellington Free Ambulance can be left at the service. Grateful thanks to the staff of Aroha Care Centre for their wonderful care and support. Emmanuel's funeral service will be held at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral "O Evangelismos tis Theotokou, (Annunciation of the Birth giver of God) 3 Hania Street, Mount Victoria, on Saturday, December 12, 2020, at 11.00am, thereafter interment at Makara Cemetery.

I have only just learned of Emmanuels death today and was very saddened not to have known. I shared many a moment with Emmanuel in my care and remember his gentle spirit and ready smile. May Theodora find rest, peace and grace in our wonderful Lord and Saviour at this time. Heather Wheeler, Aroha
