SIMPSON, Elizabeth Mary:
Died peacefully after a short illness at Mary Potter Hospice on 2 February 2023. Aged 87 years. Dearly loved wife of John Martin (dec) and Lindsay Simpson (dec). Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Christine and Peter (dec), Carol and Ben, Philip and Anne. Devoted grandmother of Thomas and Abbey, Amy, George, Theo, Finnley, Thomas, and Cormac, and great-grandmother of Albie. Loved sister of Judith and the late Alan and Ivor. Special thanks to the staff and carers at Wellington Hospital and Mary Potter Hospice for their outstanding care of Elizabeth. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mary Potter Hospice would be appreciated at https://marypotter.org.nz/support-us/donations/ or may be left at her service. A service to celebrate Elizabeth's life will be held at Cedarwood, 17 Parata Street, Waikanae, on Thursday 9 February 2023 at 11.00am, followed by private cremation.
