Elisabeth VALENTINE Obituary

Known as Lizzie to her family and friends. Passed away at Bob Scott Retirement Village, Petone, on Saturday 2 September 2023, age 65 years after a battle with cancer. Lizzie was born in Lower Hutt on 17 September 1957 to Jacqueline (Jo) and Henry (Blair) Valentine. Lizzie lived for many years at her home in Lower Hutt and will be remembered by family and friends for her heart of gold and infinite caring. Lizzie has been beautifully cared for by a wonderful team in the Hospital wing at Bob Scott. She and the family have appreciated and been so grateful for their empathy, humour and compassion during a difficult time. Lizzie is survived, and will be greatly missed, by her mum, Jo, siblings – John, Amanda (Mands) and Susannah (Fred), and by her seven nieces and nephews. We will remember and celebrate Lizzie at a service in Cornwall Manor, corner of Knights Road and Cornwall Street, Lower Hutt, on Thursday, 7 September at 2.00pm, followed by a private cremation.
