Passed away peacefully on Friday, 12 August 2022, aged 70 years. Dearly loved mother of Jared and Hinepoto. Loved grandmother of Kahu-Ariki. Elaine will be buried in Waihi on on Wednesday, 17 August 2022. Messages to the Duff Whanau may be sent C/- PO Box 119, Paraparaumu.

On Saturday I found something Elaine had posted on her facebook page it went like this: "Everyone has a friend during each stage of life. But only lucky ones have the same friend in all stages of life". I was one of those lucky ones and I was so blessed to have had Elaine in my life for over 50 years. Love to all the Duff and Flynn families - especially to Jared, Rei and Kahu. I'm so sorry won't be at service but know that you are all in my heart at this time and always. I will miss you so much Elaine but will never forget you. I will struggle without you but I will because you always gave me strength and I know you will always be with me, as you will be with me. Goodbye my wonderful friend.
