Passed into the presence of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ at Hutt Hospital on Monday 4 March 2024. Loving wife and best friend for 64 years of marriage to Ian. Dearly loved Mother and Mother-in-law of Melanie, Amanda and Craig Lamble, Kirsten and Bryce Houghton, Hamish and Leanne Clark and Olivia and Bryce Williams. Treasured Nan of Tuscan and Evelyn, Lily, Baxter, Amy and Joseph, Liam, Sophie, Bonnen, Liberty, Fleur, Sienna, Charlotte, Sebastian and Rosa. Loved sister of Dawn Missen (deceased), Ivan Preston and Joan Galt. A celebration of Elaine's life will be held at Old St Paul's, Mulgrave Street, Thorndon, Wellington on Friday 8 March 2024 at 10:00am and an interment at Makara Cemetery at 2:30pm.
