Passed away peacefully in Christchurch on the 10th of May. Formerly of Wellington. Loved wife of David Busby. Loved youngest daughter of Percival and Ada Edney, of Petone. Wife of the late Kenneth Needham (Tubby). Beloved mother to Ruth, Lisa and Mark. Cherished step-mother to Sheila. Loved mother-in-law to Ernie. Grandma to Pamela, Scott, Renee, Helen, Nick, Jay, Simon, Roxanne, Gemma, Geoffrey, Sasha, Nicola (deceased) and Kenneth. Great-Grandma of Edie, Lennox, Bailey and Xavier. Elaine was a dedicated nurse, Matron at Raetihi, Psychiatric nurse, surgical nurse. Industrial nurse at Ford Motors, ICL Paints, Taylor Preston Meat Works and nurse at Mt Crawford Prison as well as an ACC consultant.
