Passed away peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by her grandchildren. Loved mother and aunty, adored nana and great-nana, and cherished friend to many.
"Amazing woman, pet whisperer and green thumb, who will be dearly missed".
A service to celebrate Eileen's life will be held at Kapiti Coast Funeral Home Chapel, 9–11 Hinemoa Street, Paraparaumu, at 10.30am, on Thursday, 1st September, to be followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers, online donations to HUHA "Helping you help animals" (www.huha.org.nz), Forest & Bird (www.forestandbird.org.nz), or the Cancer Society (www.cancer.org.nz) would be appreciated.
