Edna BARTON Obituary
BARTON, Edna:
Passed away on May 20 2017 at Mary Potter Hospice, Newtown after a brave struggle with illness. Loved wife of the late Joseph, and treasured mother and mother-in-law to Jonathan and Ann, Claire and Rupert. Precious sister to Janet, Jean and Doris. Cherished Nana to Sophie, Lewis, Fern and Dylan. Special thanks go to the staff at Mary Potter Hospice for their kindness, care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at the service to Mary Potter Hospice. In accordance with Edna's wishes, a private cremation will be held at Whenua Tapu (immediate family only) followed by a celebration of Edna's life at St Mark's Church, Pukerua Bay, on Tuesday 30 May at 2.30pm (friends and family welcome).

To all the Barton's, I'm so sorry for your loss. Edna was a lovely woman with a very caring heart. I really enjoyed seeing her whenever she was in Auckland when the kids were little. A very caring mother and grandmother. Love to you all. The Petries.
