Hi Robyn, so sorry to hear of Doug's passing. I remember well our early days in W/L when Doug was a helpful workmate. Nearly convinced him to attend the Tatum Wildlife Reunion and now reflect how good that would have been.My best wishes to you and your family. Jim O'Brien

Hi Robyn, very sorry to learn of Doug's passing this morning - he was in wildlife service head office when I started training in 1959 and we did a few trips around Wellington and the wairarapa together. My sympathies to you and family.

Very sad news indeed Doug was a real character and a staunch colleague in the Rotorua days. You could always depend on him to do his very best as he loved a challenge. Full of fun he was dynamite at a gathering.Won't say any thing about the wicked home brew he made. Very best wishes and love to Robyn and family from Ian and Jeannie Hogarth
