Dorothy EWART Obituary
EWART, Dorothy Maud:
Passed away peacefully at her retirement village in Auckland, aged 96 years. Much loved wife of Hugh for 58 years, much admired mother of David and Michael, and respected mother-in-law to Julie and Amanda. Loved grandmother of Joshua and Spenser (Brisbane), Annabelle and Matthew (Auckland), and dedicated sister to John and Joan. Special thanks to the staff in the Care Centre at Summerset Heritage Park for their ongoing support and care. Dorothy's service will be held at All Saints Chapel, Purewa Cemetery, Meadowbank on Thursday 13th January, at 2.00pm. A memorial service for Wellington friends will be held at St Mary's Church, Silverstream, on Wednesday 26th January at 11.00am. Communications C/- Sibuns Funeral Directors, 582 Remuera Rd, Remuera, Auckland 1050.

Dear family, our mothers were very best friends. My mum Kath Walters from Whangarei. I was trying to get in touch with Doss and sadly found out she had passed in January. Our mum has also just passed 3.5.22 peacefully at the Jane Mander Retirement Village at the age of 97.

Very sorry to hear that Dorothy had died. I knew her through the Chilton Old Girls Association.
She was a wonderful woman.
