On June 4, 2017, at Gladys Mary Rest Home, Napier, surrounded by family. Aged 87 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Hast, and adored and respected mother and mother-in-law of Sue and Russell Chant (Waipukurau), Cheryl and Bob Burnett (Darwin), Mark and Sandra, Brent and Ann. Loved Nana of Brad, Blair, Olivia and Nathan Chant; Melinda and Rebekah Burnett; Leah, Ollie and Earnie Stuckey and their families. Special Nana of Fiona, Ashleigh, David, Cody, Hayley, Amy and Nick and families. Loved sister of the late Dawn, the late Nan, Joy, Heather and Cleve.

Special thanks to the staff at Gladys Mary Rest Home for their amazing care and genuine affection. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society left at the service would be gratefully received. A service for Dorrie will be held in the Beth Shan Chapel, 157 Georges Drive, Napier, on Monday, June 12, at 2.00pm, followed by private cremation.
