Dear Don Noble,
While I didn't know you well I have the measure of your character from your Son Hud.

And through my relationship with Hud, I know for a Father to have helped create & shape one of the most solid, trustworthy, integrity filled man as Hud, who I consider to be one of the most honourable men I know, shows what a worthy Father you were.

Your son supported his wife Trish unconditionally to donate me her kidney to save my life.

And for this I am eternally grateful. I will not forget that through you a lineage of children exists that truly represent the word and family name of NOBLE.

Thank you. Rest above. Much love, Adieu.

To the Noble and extended family from the Ramsey family, our thoughts and sympathies are with you at the passing of Don. Don was a great guy. He was a great help to my family through troubled times (as with Traj and Hud) he was always a great laugh with me which took the edge off other worries. It may seem odd, but I personally felt honoured to help him (and Heather) do the steel work for the foundation and then help paint his last house that Heather and he lived in Whitemans Valley at after all the help he gave me.

A fond memory I have is when Don was helping me build a big shed at Andrea´s family house in Pauatahanui and her elderly father (David Stuart) Don and I would have smoko together. After Don left to get back on the tools David said to me "he is a cheerful chap that man"

And that is the way I will remember Don, Regards Leigh Ramsey

(unfortunately I am unable to attend Don's funeral)

Hard saying goodbye to a dear friend of over 50 years.
It's hard to understand why people are taken away from us,but find comfort in knowing you were a special part of a well lived life.
