Don. You were only in Carterton a few years, but our family was so happy to have met you and Ann. I loved our walks with our dogs and long chats plus the odd bbq and beer. Thank you for the memories and we're so happy we were able to come and say goodbye today.

I knew Don starting from our primary school years together at Berhampore School in Wellington. I was a country kid new to town. He lived in Herald Street on the other side of the Berhampore valley.
I think Don told me where babies came from! True!
I loved working with him in all those years later at Avalon TV and elsewhere . He was a straight shooter and a good guy.
I'm very sad he has gone. Keith Quinn.
