Donald BIRD Obituary
Donald Ian Douglas:
Don passed away peacefully on 3 November 2021, in Palmerston North Hospital, aged 91 years. Loving husband and best friend of Fran for more than 66 years. Loved and respected father and father-in-law of Grant and Christina (Christchurch); Warren and Denise (Auckland); the late Christine (Auckland); the late Carey, and Jan (Sydney); Fiona (Noni) and Jeff Rowan (Palmerston North). Grandad of Hannah, Nicola, Naomi, Michael, Anne-Marie, Andrew, Lauren, Matt and Emma, and his 6 great-grandchildren. Loved brother of Barbara Tucker (Auckland). A service to honour Don's life will be held at 11.00am on Wednesday 10 November in Palmerston North. Due to COVID restrictions, we invite family and friends who wish to be present, to email

Hi Warren, sorry to hear of your Dad's passing but good to know he is with his Lord. He was a very good man and had a positive influence on me in my Bible Class days in Dunedin.
