Diane SHIPP Obituary
SHIPP, Diane (nee Graves):
On January 2, 2016 at Riverleigh Rest Home, Lower Hutt, after a long illness; aged 73 years. Much loved wife of the late Ron, and daughter of the late Harry Graves and Frances Graves. Loved sister and sister-in-law to Sharon & Nigel Wilson; aunt of Joshua and Phoebe, aunt-in-law of Sophie, and great aunt to Tom, Hugo and Theodora. Special thanks to all the staff at Riverleigh for their wonderful care, to Dr Rose Johnston, and to friends and family who showed their support with letters, visits, and phone calls during Di's illness. A staunch advocate for the legalisation of voluntary euthanasia, Di's advocacy became stronger with every day of indignity and pain she suffered. Courageous and feisty to the end. RIP Di. In accordance with her wishes a private cremation has been held. Messages may be sent to "the Shipp family", C/- PO Box 30 127, Lower Hutt 5040.

Only just discovered the passing of Diane, sorry I didn't visit last I was in Wellington 8 years ago, ran out of time but sorry now. too late but not too late to say good bye.
