Denis WOOD Obituary

On 17th August 2023. Suddenly passed, whilst driving, aged 75 years. Beloved husband of Anna. Much loved father of Andy and the late Catherine. Loved father-in-law of Sarah and adored Pop of Josh, Olivia, Ethan, Lucas, and Zach. Loved and respected by Bella, Helene and Hsiao, extended family, friends and work colleagues. No flowers by request, but donations to Ronald McDonald House where Denis volunteered https://rmhc.org.nz/?form=donate. A Memorial Service to celebrate Denis's life will be held at Scot's College Chapel, Monorgan Road, Strathmore on Friday 25th August 2023 at 4.30pm. When we leave this earth, the love that we've given and received remains behind to light the lives of those we touched - each memory a candle burning bright. Family are incredibly thankful for the support they are receiving.

I was so sorry to hear the sad news of Denis Passing. Anna, Andy and Family please accept my sincere Condolences, sent with lots of love and Hugs for you all. At times like this it is hard to know what to say, but remember he loved you all and although he has gone he will never be forgotten and his Memory will live on in his Grand Children. So sorry Anna, Andy and Sarah for your sudden loss of Denis. I know the Grandchildren will miss their much loved Pop. Cherish those wonderful memories.

Denis was always a wise mentor to me during my time at Munro Benge and later when I was in my own business. He had such a passion for Business Advisory which he shared so generously and which was so valuable.
