Very sad to hear of Denis passing. He was fondly remembered for his kindness to us throughout our Wellington working days. Best wishes to Joan and family.

Denis greatly demonstrated the qualities of leadership when I first met him in Jaycees probably in the early 70's. Later worked with him on the establishment of the Betty Campbell Centre at Harbour City which was at the time a great initiative for the voluntary sector. Great memories RIP Denis

It is with extreme sadness we acknowledge the passing of Denis. We will always treasure the many happy memories we shared with you both through Jaycees. Denis was my rock, fountain of knowledge and guiding light as I followed him as Secretary of the Senate and our friendship with you both was in true Jaycee Spirit. Kerren and John Foreman

To Joan and family. Thinking of you all at this time.
Working with Denis for ten years at the Harbour City Centre in Wellington was a privilege I will never forget. His friendship, humour, and work ethic showed up everyday. Denis was always there. He made coming to work something to look forward to.
Rest in peace Denis.
