David Alan WARD

David WARD Obituary

Died peacefully at Aniska Lodge, Haywards Heath, West Sussex. Loved son of Edith and Harry Ward, and brother of Betty. David leaves behind his beloved wife of 62 years Pamela, and his loving daughters, Caroline, Debbie and Tracey; grandchildren, Cameron, Liam, Jonathan, Katharine, Emily and Charlie, and sons-in-law Tony and John. An adored man who lived his long life in England and New Zealand. A service to celebrate David's life will be held at 11.00am on 29 December 2023 at the Surrey & Sussex Crematorium Memorial Chapel.

I worked with David at The Head Office of The New Zealand Motor Corporation in Wellington, New Zealand. He was always calm under pressure; which given that the product from our overseas principals was less than perfect, David was often the last man standing in handling serious complaints from our Dealer Network.

David was a loving brother to our late Mum, Betty and a kind, gentle, humorous and lovely uncle to Barbara, Jillian and Richard.
