WANDEN, David Win:
Passed away peacefully with family at his side at Hutt Hospital on 7 November 2018, aged 83 years. Loving husband of over 55 years of Margaret; father and father-in-law of Joanne and Greg, Stephen and Helen, Rebecca and Chris, Matthew and Danielle; grandfather of Emma and Thomas, Sophie, Tom, Jake, Louise, Grace, Lucy, Thane, Sasha; great-grandad of Giselle; son of the late Mervyn and Bridget Wanden; brother and brother-in-law of Br. Brian (Auck), Paul (dec), Margaret and Peter Miller (dec), John (dec) and Judith, Peter (dec) and Anne, Mary and Bryan Casey (dec); brother-in-law of Edna and Gordon Edwards (dec), Clare and Bob Macdonald (dec), Pauline (dec) and Bergin Campbell (Auck), Peter (dec) and Lynsey Burley, John (dec) and Annette Burley; loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society of NZ (PO Box 7125, Wellington 6242) or Te Omanga Hospice (PO Box 30-814, Lower Hutt 5018) would be appreciated or may be left at the service. Special thanks to the dedicated and caring staff at Hutt Hospital ED and GSG Ward and Kathy from the Hospice. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Grace Church, Palmer Crescent, Heretaunga, on Thursday 15 November 2018, at 12.00pm, followed by interment at Akatarawa Cemetery.
