Honorary Member of the Rotary Club of Eastern Hutt, Paul Harris Fellow, On Tuesday 24 November 2015, at Hutt Hospital, aged 89 years.

Dearly loved husband of Margaret for 58 years. Much loved father of Warrick, and Julaine. Loving grandad of Angelina, Clayton, & Cassidy Smith; Samuel, & Joseph Catlow. Special thanks to the staff of the Medical Ward, Hutt Hospital for their care of Dave.

A gentleman I had hoped to meet as he intrigued me and was the grandfather of Clayton, who is wonderful and my daughter's partner. What a lovely family he and Margaret created.

Dave with his peserverance and great encouragement enabled me to become inducted into the Rotary Club Of Eastern Hutt. I will forever be greatful for this gift he provided and for which I have greatly benefited in the network of wonderful friendships I now have. The most special friend of all to me has been Dave. He will always be a part of my life. I share the loss with Margaret and his Family. Ron Hunter
