David SAYLES Obituary

Of Levin. On 7 July 2023 at Wellington Hospital, aged 77 years. Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Wendy for 42 years. Loving father and father in law of Roseanne, David, Paul, Lawrence (deceased), Callum, Jo & Milton, Heather & Matt, Sheryl & Francois. Poppa to all his grand & great grand children. Well loved and respected in the community. He will be dearly missed by so many. A celebration of Dave's life will be held at The Horowhenua Events Centre, 33 Victoria Street, Levin, on Saturday 15 July 2023 at 11.00am, followed by private cremation at Horowhenua Crematorium. Message to the Sayles family c/- 284 Oxford Street, Levin.

So sad to hear of Dave´s passing. We will never forget his contribution to the construction of the Halliwell hockey turf pavilion. It was massive and to see this along with many other projects he was involved in for the better of the community is a great achievement. Rest In Peace dear Dave. You will be sadly missed. Dave, was a fantastic neighbour, when we lived, next door, to him & Wendy, @ 438 Tararua Rd.
Nothing was too much hassle, for him, to offer his assistance & help, in anyway, he could.
Will be sorely missed, by those, who knew him.
