David POTTINGER Obituary

Dear Johnathan and Chris...I'm very sad to read that David has passed away. I have many happy memories of wade street days and Sunday evening drinks together with David June and John , Mum and Dad and yourselves sometimes.

Wellington Philatelic Society offers its deepest sympathy to the Pottinger family. David was a long time member of the Society, a Committee member for several years, and its Vice-President for a full 22 years. He was a regular participant at our monthly meetings, and a dedicated supporter of Wellington regional and New Zealand national exhibitions. He welcomed new members to the Society, and was generous in offering help where he could. His passing was a shock to us all, and he will be greatly missed by members of our Society and his friends in the philatelic community.

Extending my Deepest Sympathy to David's family .I met David in London in 1977 where we enjoyed meeting up most weeks.I appreciated his kindness and showing me around different places. We have kept in touch over the years and I know he will be missed by many. Kind Regards

The community at Village at the Park say farewell to a kind, good man who loved to be part of many activities. I thank him for his friendship and many personal kindnesses over the years and I'll miss him. Judith
