Still in shock. I worked and celebrated with Dave all around the world since we met at the first rugby World Cup. He was a great guy and a fine journalist and one of the first people I would contact on visits back to New Zealand. He will be greatly missed.

I am so shocked and terribly sad - so many memories of our younger rash years - late nights playing liar dice, the Victorian Coffee House, Press Club, hangovers & laughs. A great friend who will forever be my best man even though he didn't get there in time. Thoughts are so much with Jacqui & family and Michael.
