I met David in 2007 when diagnosed with prostate cancer. Guided me through remedial therapy (radiation, brachytherapy) and convalescence for 5 years following. I owe my health to David & Bettina.
So sorry to hear he has gone.

Dr David Lamb was an excellent oncologist, intelligent, knowledgeable and compassionate. He was direct, and did not beat around the bush. He advised me on prostate cancer, and I had great respect for him. My sincerest condolences to his wife and family. Craig Rickit

David was my mentor at the start of my training. His generosity in terms time and sharing his knowledge is a debt I can never repay, only pay it forward to others. While the technology changes, integrity, honesty and patient focused care remain qualities he lived and I am so grateful he shared.

So sad to read this - seems so long ago that we had contact. Our thoughts are with you and your sons.

My late mother ( who was English ) had nothing but praise for Dr Lamb. She was diagnosed with cervical cancer at age 60. It was stage 4. After treatment, at Wellington Hospital she survived for 17 years.
Condolences to his family.
May he rest in peace.
