On 26 June 2024 at Te Hopai Rest Home and Hospital, aged 90 years. Dearly loved husband of Rene. Loving and respected Father and Father-in-law of Graeme and Susan, Debbie and John, and Wayne. Much loved Grandfather and Great-Grandfather of all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations to Te Hopai Trust at https://www.tehopai.co.nz/donate-to-te-hopai/ Special thanks to staff at Te Hopai Rest Home and Hospital. Our family knew the Howan family first while we were at the Terrace End Salvation Army. My Dad played cornet with the Howan sisters.
I remember David when playing with bands of Wellington South and Palmerston North Salvation Army. Thank you David for encouraging me when we met on many occasions . Condolences to the Howan Family.
