David ESAU Obituary
Suddenly with family at Wairarapa Hospital on 1 May 2022, aged 90. Dearly beloved husband of the late Lesley Anne, father and father-in-law of Lenise and Tony, Craig and Ginny, and Murray and Sue. Poppa/Pop/Pop David of Will, Rupert, and Chris; Ella, Llewe, Meade, Phoebe, Tom, and Sam; and Logan. Brother of Noeline Wareham and John Esau. In lieu of flowers donations in David's name may be made to Masterton South Rotary Club. A celebration of David's life will be held at The Village Chapel, 4-6 High Street, Kuripuni, Masterton on Saturday 7th May 2022 at 2.00pm.

I am saddened to hear of David's passing.
My condolences to the Esau family.
As a 15 year old I travelled to Masterton from Murray Bridge South Australia, David was my support person for my 4 month Rotary Exchange in 1994.
I was a long way from home and it was great to visit him and Lesley during my time in Masterton.

So sad to read about Davids passing away. I remember his and Lesleys visit in Sweden in 1997, we got in touch for some years ago we realized that we where related: his mother Muriel was cousin to my grandfather. Muriels father Frank Petersson emigrated to NZ at the end of the XIX. I'll love to get in touch with David and Lesleys children.
