David BARBER Obituary
On Thursday 5 July 2018, Dave died at home in the arms of his loving wife Audrey. Treasured son of Iri-May and the late Albert Barber. Brother of Angela, Richard and Sharon. Cousin of Bill, Sandra, Muriel and Alan. Loved and respected uncle of Aroon, William, Reremoana, Roimata, Sarah, Chris, Frances, Haydn, Rowena and Morgan. Special uncle of Annabelle, Michelle, Bridget and Brent.
A kind, generous man who loved his wife, his whanau and the Kapiti community.
A service for Dave will be held at Southward Auditorium, Otaihanga Rd, Paraparaumu, on Tuesday 10 July 2018 at 11.00am, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers, Dave has asked that you consider a donation to the Whareroa Guardians Community Trust, by posting to 8 Te Miti St, Paekakariki 5034, leaving a gift at his service, or donating directly to Whareroa Guardians Community Trust 03 0732 0429996 00. Thank you.

My beautiful, kind, thoughtful Uncle, we miss you more each year that passes but are so grateful for the time we had with you. I wish you were here to enjoy all your new nieces and nephews but we keep your memory alive for them. Aroha nui always x

I would like to tell his wife Audrey how grateful I am that I got to know David and her many many years ago. I'm so sorry for her loss and hope she's doing alright . I intended to send David an email and I've just read that he passed away last year and as I haven't seen him for ages, I've been living in Spain for years already , I would like to get back into contact with Audrey but don't have neither her email address nor her phone number.
