David ATKINS Obituary

Died peacefully on 28 June 2023, aged 92 years. A gentle person and a gentleman. Dearly loved and best friend of Anke for 60 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of Annette & Gary, Tom & Bente, Paul & Veronika, Robin & Patrick, and Julia. Adored Opa of Jack, Rebecca, Ida, Anna, Abby, Valerie & Ghislain, Lalita, Eden and Adam. Much loved older brother of Norman (dec.), Max and Barbara. Loved by his many nephews and nieces. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wellington Free Ambulance would be appreciated. Special thanks to the staff at Village at the Park for looking after David and supporting his family. A service for David will be held at Lychgate Funeral Home, 306 Willis Street, Aro Valley, Wellington, at 11.00am on Thursday 6 July.
