I was shocked and saddened when I heard David had passed away. David was my Manager for a few years and he was one of the best I ever had. David was very supportive to me when I was going through a difficult time and I'll always remember that. David was kind, and he was a good man. I will miss him.

My condolences to the Atkin family. I knew David for what seemed a brief moment in his life. I worked with David and remember his sense of humour and his ability to teach while providing advice.

I was shocked and am so, so sad to hear of David´s death on Sunday. We have worked together for over 14 years, firstly on the Board of Trustees at Waterloo School and as trustees for Waterloo Empowerment Through the Arts Programme (Wetap). David´s kindness and willingness to give back to the community, improving opportunities for children was an integral part of the man he was. I saw David a few weeks ago, he looked a bit better and was focusing on living each day. Maddie and Gareth, you´re Dad was super proud of you both and talked about you often. Cath, Maddie and Gareth my sincere condolences to you all, I know David will be missed.
