BOWDEN, Colleen:
Passed away 1st January 2021 after a short battle with illness. Loved wife of Barry who passed away in March. Mother to Dean, Carolyn and Trevor. Nana to Logan, Terence, Catherine, Vanessa, Allison, Nicola, Jacinta, Benjamin, Samantha, Lillie. Great-Nana to Jacob, Jye and Hazel. Colleen was the eldest of Logan and Mel McMahon, and 12 brothers and sisters. Aunty to many more across the Bowden and McMahon families. Mum was quite the Matriarch of a large family and a long time resident and member of the Wainuomata community. Colleen had many friends and was a proud supporter of her local library. She will be looking down on all of us, fussing away and tsk tsking with hair combed back and fresh lipstick. Look out Barry, your peace has ended - Mum is on her way. A private gathering and cremation has been held. All messages to the "Bowden family" c/- PO Box 30-127, Lower Hutt 5040.
