Passed away peacefully after a short illness surrounded by family on July 29, 2017, aged 79 years. Cherished husband of Marguerite. Loved brother of Carol and John. Father of Alison, Janice and Brett, and Karen and Nick. Grandfather of Lisa, Amy and David. Loved by all of his great-grandchildren.

Colin and I go way back. It's long time from Waiwhare to today. I remember freezing lambing beats, warming hands on the Fergie exhaust in the cold so we could have a smoke. I had a lot of time and respect for Colin as an olf fried - my thoughts are with all touched by his passing. I don't know all but special thoughts to Margaret and Alison - Patrick Ward
