Colin SCOTT Obituary
Passed away at Whitby Bupa Care Home on Monday 13th March 2023. Loving husband of the late Angela for 50 years, the best Dad to Jackie, Ian and Andrew. Caring grandad to James, Natalie, Thomas, Charley, Abbey, Zoë and Grace, great-grandad to Louie. Dear father-in-law and wonderful friend to Paul, Mary, Simon and Julie. Colin was a kind and true gentleman, a story-teller and friend to everyone he met. We will be remembering more of those stories at Colin's Requiem Mass to be celebrated at St Theresa's Church, James Street, Plimmerton, on Monday 20th March at 1.00pm, followed by cremation at the Whenua Tapu Crematorium. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, Colin and the family would appreciate donations to https://givealittle.co.nz for Colin James Scott and donations will be passed to Dementia related charities to support patients and carers. A special thank you to the staff of the Kauri Unit at Whitby Bupa Care Home that supported Colin and the family when it was needed most.

Just found the notice for Colin.
Sorry to hear of your loss. Eric and I enjoyed staying with Colin and Angela on two separate visits to New Zealand, in 2008 and 2010 They made us most welcome.

Our deepest sympathy to all of the Scott family, on the passing of Colin, our dear brother in law. We have such fond memories of Colin and Angela, we remember the joy and laughter we had on Friday night get together´s before they left the UK for their life in New Zealand. Colin will always be remembered by us as a kind and caring soul with a massive sense of humour. He will be sadly missed by us all. Rest in peace Colin, we loved you dearly.

Our deepest sympathy goes to all the Scott family on the sad loss of Colin. We have such fond memories of our dear brother in law who was a constant source of joy, laughter and kindness in our family. Our special Friday nights spent together, before Colin and Angela moved to New Zealand, will be in our hearts forever, so much joy and laughter will never be forgotten.
