My condolences to Colin's family. I caught up with Colin at my sister Ailsa's funeral last year. It was lovely to catch up after so many years and saddened to hear of his passing.

Colin (Firey )Francis. A good man, very pleasant company, a class of 59 South School Dannevirke, friend of Carol Setford. A dynamic member of the Excelsior R.F.C. out of Dannevirke. Fleet of foot, with a fiery rugged attitude. Top man..Sorry we wont be there on friday but thoughts are with all. God bless you colin you'll be missed by many . Carol and Barry Auckram.

Such a lovely man with infectious positive energy and a big heart. It was an absolute pleasure working for him and Ian at Davmet. Andy and I send our deepest condolences to Helen and the whole family and we are gutted that we can't be there this Friday. Take care xxx

My memories of Colin is that he was always such a happy, generous and fun loving man. Loved by all that new him and is now in paradise for sure. My older siblings will miss you Colin so much as you all grew up together.
