I was contemplating a career In music, 18-19 yrs old, absolutely gobsmacked at the abilities of Chris with Fresh Air at Tabla, Lorne St Auck. I Eventually got up the courage to speak to him briefly once. their was no courage needed. He was very accomodating. For a while he was playing a different instrument every week. Didn't matter. He could play the daylights out of anything. I'm 74 now but will never forget the deep impression he left on my soul with his incredible dexterity and creative spirit on those keys. Bless you Chris...

I knew Chris from art class at Onslow College. He was gentle and special, and I was very fond of him.

Christopher with his Tibetan teacher Geshe Dhonam with the group that he attended for many years from 2002. Chris always arrived with a gentle genuine presence. He had a kind heart. His teacher is making prayers for Chris and we all send condolences to his family. Rip Chris

Condolences to all the family. I only knew Chris. We had a band briefly in 75 in Auckland. Then we would meet from time to time, by chance, in Wellington where he would enthusiastically explain what piano piece he was working on.
A loss to Wellington.
