Christopher John (Chris/CJ):
Peacefully on July 8, 2018, at Riverleigh Residential Care, Lower Hutt, surrounded by family, aged 72 years. Loved husband of Fiona. Loved father of Kevin & Kelly, Paul, David, Michele, and John & Samantha. Grandfather to Bayleh, Liam, Joel, and Lucas. Brother and brother-in-law to Bill & Elsie. A Requiem Mass for Chris will be held in St Joseph's Catholic Church, cnr of Pine Avenue and Main Street, Upper Hutt, on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at 11.00am, followed by private cremation.

Fiona, I only learnt today of the passing of Chris. I still remember your lovely wedding day. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. Rest in Peace Chris, and much love to you Fiona and familyxx

Chris was a good man and always eager to help anyone he felt needed it and I know this first hand. He will never be forgotten by my family. At times he was more like a dad to the boys and for this I, and they, will always be thankful for. We will all miss his friendly banter and good advice. RIP Chris!!!
